Persecution of Christians\nis rampant throughout the world and it doesn’t make sense. What is it\nthat causes people to hate, wound and kill these people who strive\nfor peace, people that will share what they have and pray for the\ndrama in your life? They are not just marginalized as fools, they are\nhated and singled out for persecution. Meanwhile, the so called\n\u201creligion of peace\u201d which is actively spreading by force and\nthreats of death does not seem to cause any concern at all. If I was\nin charge of the world, I would want as many Christians in my country\nas possible. What kind of society would it be if people were really\n\u201cloving their neighbors as themselves?\u201d It would be interesting\nto see. True, Christians are often blamed for being hypocrites but\nlet’s be real, each one of us is an actor to some varying degree in\nour relationships. If hypocrites were singled out for abuse, our\npoliticians should be getting their share but they don’t? Something\nelse is going on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
God is the Creator of\nheaven and earth and His Son, Jesus, came to earth to offer Himself\nas payment for our sins. While Jesus was here, he touched the unclean\nlepers and healed them, He taught wonderful lessons in morality and\nencouraged people to engage with their Creator and to be loving to\none another. He taught counter intuitive lessons like submitting to\nauthorities and loving your enemies during a time when Rome ruled and\nit was no utopia. Jesus was the ultimate physician not only healing\nall manner of diseases, but also raising people from the stinking\ndead. All these wonderful benefits were on display to mankind and\nwhat happens? God and Jesus are used as curse-words in our books,\nmovies and in conversations. Why are they singled out? I think it’s\nreasonable to consider that with all things being equal, other\nreligious leaders names (Buddha, Joseph Smith and Allah) should be\nused for curse-words but they are not. Why?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Jews \u2013 hounded and\nhunted, persecuted and rounded up and systematically killed. These\nare the same people that have blessed the world with their inventions\nand insight. This is evidenced by the fact that while Jews consist of\n.2% of the worlds population, they have been awarded 24% of the Nobel\nPrizes. Think of the contribution of mankind by Jonas Salk, Edward\nTeller and Albert Einstein or in Entertainment, Spielberg, Billy\nCrystal, Bob Dylan, Gene Wilder, Jerry Seinfeld and many more. Yet,\nas a people they are singled out and hated. They were hounded in\ntheir neighborhoods, and even now, in their own country they cannot\nfind rest. Why?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
God and Jesus, Jews and\nChristians seem to be in the same hated boat. What is the common\ndisdain denominator? The reason God and Jesus are used as\ncurse-words, and not the other guys is because the demonic influence\nthat whispers in a persons conscience, has no interest in slandering\nthe false teachers and false-prophets. Likewise, Jews and Christians\nare hated because of their association with God. Jews are the chosen\nPeople of God and Christians are in allegiance with God’s Plan. It\nboils down to hatred for God and anything related to God (like the\nTen Commandments). Since God is not available for direct persecution,\nthis hatred is expressed on God’s associates. It is a kind of a \ngroup-hate inspired by evil suggestions in the conscience of the\nmajority. With this, we catch a glimpse into another dimension where\nevil lurks and desires to sway us always leading us away from the God\nthat is trying to save us. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
John the Apostle said:\n\u201cAnd this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the\nworld, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds\nwere evil.
