Is Someone Knocking?
Jesus said:
“For no one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them to me, and at the last day I will raise them up.” [John 6:44].
“I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me” [John 14:6].
“Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends.” [Rev 3:20].
Your Creator has gifted you life again today and He has shared with you many of His own attributes such as five senses to take in information and a brain to process the gathered data. The data is organized into thoughts that we can ponder and ruminate on. Through these gifts and processes, we have learned about our physical life and health, as well as, the ins and outs of relationships, which can be any shade between wonderful or chaotic. What do we see? We see a problematic world populated with many broken people that are struggling to get through all the minefields of life. And, we are routinely bombarded by “news” sources that see the latest murder and tragedy only through the lens of their “ratings,” it is all very distracting.
But even with all the distractions, those with even a minuscule knowledge of the Bible have heard about “666” and the “Mark of the Beast” [Revelation 13:16-18, Rev 14:9-10]. These days, we can see that the hardware like super-computers, AI and Star-link, are already here and ready now. These will become tools that the anti-Christ will use to enforce the decision he will impose on all mankind. Your only choice will be worshipful allegiance, signified by a mark on your head or hand, or death. We see the ramping up of evil [Rev 12:12] and the inexplicable concern and hatred of Israel, and Jews in general [Zechariah 12:3]. When you cannot strike back at God, you strike at those He cares about, [Zechariah 2:8]. All of these things were foretold in the Bible along with hundreds of other prophecies.
So, in consideration of the things we have experienced in life, coupled with what you are seeing, (and perhaps feeling) that something bad is just over the horizon, is God “drawing” you? From: https://psychology.tips. Drawing is “that magnetic pull, an unexplainable force that draws two people together.” Usually the draw is subtle, perhaps a nagging feeling that you should look into the Gospel of Christ. Maybe, everywhere you turn, there are “coincidental” things and even people that pop into your life and turn your thoughts towards a relationship with God.
Is He knocking? Gently, subtly yet persistently? If so, He is drawing you. Jesus is locked out of your heart until you open the door. He wants to come in and fellowship with you in a meal of reconciliation, a meal where former enemies become a lot more than friends. He’s not a solicitor that merely wants your money. Instead, He offers forgiveness for all your past sins. In fact, He has already paid the incredible high price for your sins with His own life’s blood. It’s a package deal, your relationship with Him is also your passport into His Kingdom, Heaven. These gifts also come wrapped in a lavish blanket of genuine peace, peace in knowing that you are “right” with your Creator… His way. All this for the humble price of asking. This is truly is the best deal in the universe, ever. Accept no other offers, do it today, [2 Corinthians 6:2].

Well Hi there,
As you can tell from the delay in my reply. I don’t receive notifications on my blog. I have to look into that. We are good here, wonderfully blessed and in the looking up mode. God bless and keep you, Keith
I appreciate your blog. It is right on. I believe the return of Christ is soon. Our time on earth is short. We need to have a sense of urgency.
Thanks Ken, I appreciate the encouragement. I have been working like crazy on updating the gospel section of my website making it phone-friendly. God bless you, Keith
