“This IS Hell”
I recently talked to a man who told me what he thought life was about, He said, “This life is Hell.” The gentleman was suffering from severe chronic nephropathy pain which understandably is hellish for those thus afflicted. As far as our existence being Hell, I agree to that somewhat, because we can see many of evil attributes of Hell on display every day in the news. We see it in mankind’s actions, war, murder, rape, theft, sexual slavery etc. We see evil’s effect on our bodies with sickness, viruses, cancer and pain, and we can see what is generally referred to the “curse” in the natural world with predators killing their pray, poisonous animals, earthquakes, hurricanes, fires and tornadoes. Sadly, we also see evil in relationships in the form of hatred, malice, envy and such. These are not the attributes of the completely righteous and Holy God, nevertheless, those attributes are here because of the fall of Adam which brought us the “knowledge of good and evil.”
If God can do anything, why was this allowed? For the simple reason that love can only exist where there is the ability of choosing not to love. Yes, God certainly could have made us all love Him, but without the freedom and free will to choose not to love, that love would be like the love of a programmed robot. If you have a toy robot that says, “I love you” to you, is it really love? Of course not, it would be meaningless and soon annoying. How about if your grandchild (out of the blue) wraps his arms around you and says, “I love you.” That’s a meaningful experience because the child is doing that out of a free will. Sometimes, of course, sediments like that are said by children because they want something, a ploy easily seen-through by most adults. What is almost comical is that some adults do the same thing with God in their bargaining and promises with Him; somehow thinking that God is unaware of their attempts of manipulation.
We not only have the attributes of Hell visible here, we also have attributes of Heaven. The deep love of spouses, friends and relatives, the beauty of nature in flowers, landscapes and sunsets and animals that provide excellent examples of unconditional love. Our bodies that enjoy the fulfillment of work and the pleasure of leisure activities and the enjoyment of food.
So yes, both Hell and Heaven are on display here, and here’s something to consider. In this experience of life for believers in Christ, this is as close to Hell as they will ever experience. Conversely, for the unsaved, this is as close to Heaven as they will ever experience.
The stage is set and while your heart is beating, this is your time; with your invaluable free will, to choose. You can choose to acknowledge your Creator and accept the salvation He offers, His way, or, you can do your own thing, your own way. Most people that reject God fail to consider that when they choose to eternally separate themselves from God, they have also separated themselves from everything good because there is nothing “good” in Hell. Conversely, there is nothing evil in God’s Eternal Kingdom. This is your time of choosing, don’t be distracted and please choose wisely and feel (for yourself) what the peace of what a proper relationship with The Creator feels like. Here’s how: LINK

Thank you Keith!!
Thank God for second chances! We don’t have to be damned for all eternity because of the disobedience of Adam and Eve. There was a choice they made and indeed it was deadly. God‘s love is so great that He became the curse for us, if we just accept The amazing sacrifice (gift) of His life given on the cross in our place.
Love so AMAZING!
