- Mid-East Travels -


Although I am not much of a world-traveler, I have been to the mid-east five times. My longest say was in Israel for a month. There is so much history there, one month was not enough.

Red Sea Expedition

I participated in a week long dive expedition where we looked for artifacts left over from when the Jews crossed the Red Sea. Artifacts were found (pdf Journal).

Destroyed Gomorrah

Exploring the ruins thought to be the Biblical Gomorrah. Evidence includes brimstone (sulfur) balls as shown below and a unique, contained area of devastation.

I.D.F. Volunteer

I volunteered to work for a month on a couple of Israel Defense Force bases. It was an excellent experience. Info for those who may be interested.
